Glen Comiso, CEO & Managing Director
Glen Comiso is the CEO and Managing Director of Comiso & Company. He has extensive experience building innovation organizations, policies and programs at the intersection of academia, government, and industry. Glen's experience includes over 13 years at MIT where as Chief of Staff and Senior Director for Institute Affairs, he developed, facilitated and managed Institute-level initiatives in areas such as innovation, AI, and health care & life sciences -- fostering collaborations of stakeholders ranging from students to faculty to Fortune 500 CEOs. Glen's background includes strategy consulting at the Boston Consulting Group, leadership of the Massachusetts Life Sciences Collaborative, and oversight of the City of Boston Mayor's Economic Initiatives including the LifeTech Boston program. Glen began his career as an engineer, where he led cross-functional teams to develop communications technologies for the government.

Comiso & Company is focused on cultivating innovation through strategies that consider and connect academic research & development, industry commercialization & production, and government policy & leadership. Project experience includes creating and implementing a biotech strategy for the City of Boston, framing and managing a coalition of regional leaders to strengthen the Massachusetts life sciences ecosystem, developing university initiatives in areas such as the future of learning, start-up formation, AI policy, and CEO-level industry engagement.
